Zoom Israel

Duration: 5 months
Start/End Dates: September 2011
Program Cost: $7,500
Estimated Masa Israel Universal Grant: $3,000*

Spend five months in Tel Aviv learning the art of photography while experiencing life in Israel’s capital of cool. The Zoom Israel photography track is taught by local professionals (including a Pulitzer Prize winner!) with a special emphasis on documentary photography and photojournalism. Return home with a marketable skill and a sense of accomplishment. Whether you want to explore a new career path or learn for fun, Zoom Israel’s photography track is about enriching yourself and finding inspiration in the Land of Milk and Honey. Along the way, we will crisscross the country on a series of travel experiences that take you beyond the typical tour.

All Israel Pathways participants have the option to continue their experience after Israel in Uganda. There we will live and give in a local village for three months – training, counseling, and empowering vulnerable youth by combining traditional social work, arts education, and art therapy.

Also available: Graphic Design Track | Film Track | Mutimedia Track
