Saving the Stones in Old Acre is a practical training course in historical and archaeological conservation. Offered by the International Conservation Center (ICC) in Old Acre in conjunction with the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), the Old Acre Development Company, and the Acre Municipality and sponsored by the Israel National Commission for UNESCO, the program features lectures, workshops and study tours. Participants learn about many renowned historical figures, nations, cultures and religious movements that have left their mark in Israel.
