Israel is a living laboratory for research and practice in stress, crisis, and trauma. Over the years, Israeli scholars and practitioners have developed considerable knowledge and models of intervention in these areas. This M.A. program encompasses both public disasters and personal life crises: terror and war and natural disasters in the public realm, along with such stressors as immigration, domestic violence, divorce, and illness and bereavement in the personal realm.
