Career Israel offers professional internship placements in leading companies and organizations in the private and public sectors in Israel. Internship opportunities are available in a number of fields, including (but not limited to) law, medicine, advertising and public relations, hi-tech, education, social work, engineering, hotel management and computer science. Participants take part in a three-week Hebrew study course (Ulpan) that enables them to interact in Israeli society and succeed in their internships.

LIFE – Social Justice Fellowship

LIFE is a service-learning program for social sector leadership development that begins with one month of training and learning in Israel and continues with professional internship, learning and cross-cultural immersion in India. Participants return to Israel for a second internship and learning period of similar length. LIFE partners with leading agencies in areas like children and refugees rights, women’s empowerment, health and education for the poor, microfinance and the environment.

Oranim’s Tel Aviv Internship Experience offers participants the opportunity to pursue a professional internship that best suits their interests and skills while connecting them with their Jewish heritage and helping them improve their Hebrew language skills. Volunteering is another critical dimension of the Tel Aviv Internship Experience – interns take pride in giving back to the community while they enhance their resumes.

The Intern Jerusalem/Tel-Aviv programs by WUJS Israel Hadassah combine a professional internship with the additional benefits of a regular Hebrew language (Ulpan) course, weekly field trips, overnight hikes, and meetings with Israeli peers. Participants live in apartments in the trendy neighborhoods of Jerusalem or southern Tel-Aviv and intern in almost any area of industry and commerce, public and private sector, art and culture, hi-tech, politics and more.
