The Culinary Arts and Wine Program at The Jerusalem Culinary Institute is designed for those with a proven interest in cooking. A wide range of coursework includes: theory, basic nutrition, hotel and catering management, stock flows, hygiene, food and beverage management, catering theory and the rules of commercial kitchens, and wine appreciation. Students learn to prepare full course meals that combine both traditional and gourmet dishes according to Jewish dietary laws (kashrut).
